Hatha Yoga

This is a yoga class that focuses on physical health and mental well-being. Fundamental asanas (postures) are practiced to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body. Basic breathing techniques (pranayama) and relaxation techniques (meditation) are also integrated. You can expect an emphasis on simplicity, repetition and holding the postures for a few breaths as we make a full circuit of the body’s range of motion with standing postures, twists, backbends, forward folds, hip openers and an introductory shoulder stand.
Mixed Level - Classes will have a range of students, and teacher will offer modifications.
