हठ haṭha literally means "force".
This is a traditional hatha yoga class practising classical yoga postures that you keep a longer time, creating balance and uniting opposites. We focus on Core awareness. In this practice we begin with a short meditation to still the mind, slow movements to warm up the body guided by the breath. We create yoga postures together with breath control (Pranayama). Keeping a pose using the force of the mind and the breathing, finding the balance and strength. The goal is to reach a meditative state of practising as you control the body and the breath, and consequently the mind gets in control. Hatha Yoga develops strength, flexibility, bodily relaxation, and mental concentration. Ending the session with relaxation, eye pillows and a surprise treatment to release all the tension and the old energy out.
